SUMMER GROUP COURSES
PURPOSE: teach children to have
knowledge of and respect for dogs
These meetings will give answers to
questions such as:
- What is a dog?
- How to play and communicate with a dog
- What are the responsabilities of taking care of a hairy friend?
The course will take place inside a protected area where there will be some
puppies to observe and pet.
The children will satisfy their need for tactile contact, and by playing with
the puppies they will get to know them, they will be able to relate to them,
and they will be able to bond with them.

CHILDREN AND ANIMALS
Forming a relationship with animals can be very
important to the development of children. It helps to develop the imagination,
self-respect, ability for communication, and it promotes psychological stability.
It helps to develop the rapport, and the interaction skills needed to make
humans bond with all other species.
A relationship with an animal can also help children to not be afraid or reserved about diversity, and to be able to face interaction and relationships with people in a calm manner.

KNOWLEDGE AND PREVENTION'S SCHOOL COURSES
The divulging of dog culture
as a figure always more close to men, has a great importance in our society.
To limitate all those incidents to wich kids usually are subject more than
adults is necessary to divulgate dog culture and prevention, to improve knowledge
about dogs, and give the right informations.
For this reason the Team Dog started a knowledge and
prevention's program for the Schools, addressed to
kids and teens.
PURPOSE: teach children
to develop a correct relation
with animals, for the formation of future parents who
will be able to teach to their children that a dog is a
complex living being, sensible, intelligent,
able to love as much as able to wound.

This school program is dedicated to Tay,
my small-big assistant,
a "Bichon frisè" which departed this life too early,
old, only 6 months and a half !
Tay was a cute friend for anyone,
a funny games companion for every kind of dog,
with an instinctive liking for kids,
and mascot of the Team Dog.
With its cheerfulness, liveliness, joy of life,
it did fill my days and my dogs days as well,
and was able to make reality my project
of taking a well educated dog into a school.
